Finance Business Partner, Vejle

On behalf of Fertin Pharma A/S, we are searching for an ambitious and analytical Finance Business Partner with a strong business acumen to contribute to the ongoing development of financial management.

The position
You will be responsible for the R&D and ChewTech division, where you will deliver value-creating analyses and conclusions that supports the business.

You will be part of a highly ambitious team that throughout the organization thinks and acts on being financially responsible for the business by providing transparency and business insights. You will assist the management by creating the best foundation for taking business-critical decisions – at the strategic as well as the operational level – thereby lifting the business performance to a higher level.

In the role as Finance Business Partner, you will refer directly to the CFO. You will work in close collaboration with a dedicated HR Business Partner to support functional leaders across the organization (including cross-boarder cooperation) in driving operational business performance, continuous improvement, optimization management and strategy implementation.


Your primary tasks

  • Development and implementation of functional excellence procedures
  • Budgets, ABC models and rolling forecasts – as well as follow-up on these
  • Development of business cases
  • Finance business partnering/support to the CFO and management
  • Development of analyses, conclusions and recommendations
  • Standard cost price accounting
  • Development of stage-gate-models
  • Strategy implementation and cross-organizational transparency
  • Controlling and monthly reporting
  • Follow-up on and reporting of financial and operational KPIs
  • Further development of analyses, internal KPIs and reporting
  • Development and giving of presentations to management

 

Your profile
You hold a theoretical education such as MSc Economics and Business Administration, MSc Finance and Accounting, or the like. In addition, you have a number of years of relevant work experience from a Finance Business Partner or Business Controller role from an international company, preferably within the pharma and/ or food industry. You can also have experience from a PE-company.

You experience developing business cases and presenting information supporting management decision making. You have experience working with business development, pipeline management and/or new product development. You have solid experience with business performance management setups, and you are able to make conclusions according to KPIs.

You have a strong strategic and business-minded acumen that enables you to link analytical results and conclusions to business needs and you are driven by an ambition to create value for the business. You feel comfortable being a sparring partner to the business and having a large contact network both nationally and internationally.

You are a solid user of MS Office, especially Excel and you have experience with standard cost price accounting, rolling forecast and ABC models. Furthermore, you have experience developing stage-gate-models.

As a person, you have an extrovert profile and a proactive approach with strong communication and networking skills, and you are good at negotiating with stakeholders. You have a natural ability to switch focus from operational to strategic level and prioritize work based on assessment of risk and materiality.

Finally, you have a positive attitude by nature, and you enjoy working with others. You are hands-on, result driven and you appreciate working on multiple tasks at a time. You are a highly competitive team player with a proven track-record on execution – both for your own tasks as well as cross-functional projects.
