On behalf of Arval A/S, we are searching for an analytical and business-minded Business Controller to contribute to the ongoing development of financial management and to create financial insight for the business areas Sales and Service Delivery for the companies in both Denmark and Norway.
Your primary role will be to support the business with value-creating analyses and conclusions that help create more financial insight.
You help the management have the best foundation for taking business-critical decisions – at the strategic as well as the operational level – thereby lifting the business performance to a higher level.
Your will refer to the Finance Director of the Danish company, and you will report to the management in Denmark as well as to the Group Management Control/headquarters in Paris on an ongoing basis. You become part of a rather small, but dynamic and ambitious team.
Your primary tasks
You hold a theoretical education as a cand.merc.fir., cand.oecon., cand.polit. or the like. In addition, you have a good understanding of accounting as well as solid experience handling large data quantities. You are also experienced developing analyses and conclusions based on data – and you know how to further develop tools and transform complex data into something that is easily understandable.
You have a strong strategic and business-minded acumen that enables you to couple analytical results and conclusions with business needs. You are driven by an ambition to create value for the business – and you know how to ask the “right” questions about the business. You feel comfortable being a sparring partner to the business and having a large contact network.
You have solid experience developing presentations and, possibly, also experience giving presentations to the management and the rest of the business.
As a person, you are hands-on, have a systematic and structured approach and focus on keeping deadlines and delivering quality products. You have ‘drive’, are extrovert and good at communicating and establishing new relations across the organisation.
Your English language proficiency is excellent – both spoken and written. You are strong on data and an experienced user of MS Office, especially Excel, and perhaps you are familiar with VBA.
